The Veludo collection takes inspiration from the velvet fabric. It features smaller and bigger ridges that reminds the fabric. It looks as if it is made from multiple cords laid parallel to each other and then stitched together. In the past, the velvet was a symbol of richness in the smooth version while was a symbol of the poor and simple people in the ridged version. Thanks to this dual meaning, the use of the velvet fabric changed across the years assuming an image of flexibility and adaptability to different social contexts.
We can find the same versatility in the Veludo collection, where the ridges create different effects in the severals shapes and bright colours available. Without any doubt it is a really special and unique frame.
